Rame Cornwall beach guide
There are several beaches on the Rame Peninsula.
The largest stretch of beach is Whitsand Bay and this is an ideal beach for family fun and for surfing, body boarding etc. The beach is accessible by cliff paths which at times are steep and you may need to consider the suitability of the access if you have elderly people or very young children and pushchairs etc. in your party.
More accessible, but still a slight incline to access, is Portwrinkle beach.
Smaller family friendly beaches can be found in Kingsand and Cawsand. The Cawsand beach has a regular ferry crossing to and from Plymouth in the summer months.
Downderry and Seaton beaches are a few miles from the Rame Peninsula should you wish to travel further afield.
